Liberals close book on campaign fundraising allegations

OTTAWA — A federal Liberal party investigation launched in conjunction with Elections Canada has found no evidence of wrongdoing by B.C. fundraisers, the party said Monday. The Liberals were responding to an accusing letter from the New Democratic Party to federal elections officials about a fundraising issue that has sparked divisions within the Liberal party in B.C.
