Man found not criminally resposible for mother’s beheading has gone missing in Toronto

, 55, who was held not criminally responsible after beheading his mother in 2010, is missing.

Brailsford was last seen at 2:30 p.m. in the Jane and Bloor area of .

“He is described as 6’2″, 215 lbs., black hair and balding, blue eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and black shoes,” Toronto Police said in a release.

“He is considered a danger to himself and others,” the release emphasized. “If located do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.”

Barbara Starkey-Brailsford, was found dead in 2010 and Thomas was charged with her murder, but was declared not criminally responsible at trial.

Last year at this same time in September, Brailsford went missing from a mental health facility before being located two days later.
