The turnout at Rome’s Family Day 2016 to protest the proposed legalization of gay unions in Italy was impressive. Nearly 2,000,000 people showed up at the enormous Circus Maximus arena on January 30 to parade against the “Cirinna Bill” now awaiting vote in the Italian Parliament. Many came from different parts of the country to be there, in a similar way people travel from different parts of the U.S. each year to participate in the annual Pro-Life March in Washington D.C.
