Republican Candidates Looking for New God Following Pope Francis’s “Stream of Hippie Bullshit”
Posted on 24.09.2015 | No CommentsWASHINGTON BUREAU (TheBadgerCA) – Republican candidates are rethinking their relationship with God as Pope Francis, representative of the Christian Almighty on Earth, spoke to the US Congress Thursday morning. In his address Pope Francis called for the abolition of the death penalty, deal with climate change proactively and open borders to assist refugees. Upon hearing the address, the GOP reconsidered their stance with religion and the Christian god, and are actively looking for a new deity to follow that shares the Republican ideals on same-sex marriage, homosexuality, abortion and the expense of natural resources to assist business’ bottom-lines. Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee was disappointed with Pope Francis’s address, calling it “a stream of hippie bullshit” and “pins a ‘Hillary Clinton’ button on God’s robes”. Leigh-Ann Hampern, spokeswoman from the Huckabee campaign, said today “Huckabee, like others in the Republican party are gravely disappointed in God at the moment. It is obvious that this is the word of God, coming from the Pope as His vessel. If this is his bidding, we are actively looking for a new God, a caring God, an all-loving God. Jailed Clerk Who Refused to Hand Out Marriage License to Gay Couples Set to Have Gay Marriage
Posted on 04.09.2015 | No CommentsASHLAND, KENTUCKY (TheBadgerCA) – Kim Davis, the Rowan County clerk who refused to issue marriage licenses to gay coupled due to her religious beliefs is set this evening to be locked in matrimony in a gay union. Davis, who was placed in the Carter County jail Thursday for contempt of court will be wed in a small and captive ceremony to one of her fellow inmates. Her fellow bride-to-be is LuAnn Carter, 34, who is currently incarcerated for aggravated assault and assault with a deadly weapon. Carter said she has been looking forward to uniting with Davis since she first heard of Davis’s actions. Carter, who recently terminated her same-sex relationship with her partner Lisa Carmichael as a result of the domestic abuse that saw her arrested, said “When I heard about Davis and what she was doing to gays and lesbians, I felt that I really needed to get to know her well and “educate her” [airquotes] and hopefully turn her view around.
